Well, for the people who attended the chat yesterday..
Quoted from the chat:
"When we launch the open beta, which will be shortly, there will be no more ip blocking between any of the servers, whether its the acclaim servers, that handle most of the world except france and germany and the benelux, and there will be no more ip blocking on the side of spellborn as well."
Although I ain't playing very active myself, cheers for the devs, who actually... listenend.

Very good news, now the game will at least have a chance of survival in the "original" launched countries. I do hope that they won't add to many new servers with the Acclaim release. They should first focus on populating the existing ones, otherwise you still got the same problem on those servers in the end

1 server to start and an additional server to be added later was the plan I heard.
I sure hope this is true. But more importantly I sure hope the open beta happens REAL soon. It seems each week more and more people turn their back on TCoS which I feel has an excellent chance at being a sleeper hit under the shadow of WoW...kinda like how AC1 was during the time of the behemoth EQ1.
The open beta and IP ban dismissal needs to happen right away to ensure TCoS at least has a fighting chance.
I don't care anymore. Tried the game with a proxy, and don't like the combat system.
This is great news! Looking forward to try the game after the ipblocks are lifted.
Good. Hopefully this will give the servers a decent boost to population.
