Finally got in

 After 2 days of frustration Aventurine seems to have fixed all the issues. I played for the first time for an extended period of time today, and had a great time. Ran flawlessly.

    Yeah i been ingame to, to bad 99% of the other people STILL cant buy it , not expecting it to happen untill monday either

    It's sold out... thats why they can't buy it. Once all the pre order problems are sorted out I'm sure it'll go through. 

     

    Anyway, they've been worked all through the night for nearly two days straight, its about time, but hey, I got 3 extra free days out of it. Seems all the synch issues are fixed, no more dead zones. Great work Aventurine.

    More likely  the reason the forums are off is for damage control. They don't want to have to deal with everyone who is either in game, or wants to be playing - cause everyone is complaining.. people in game and out.

    Also, forums aren't broken, they are turned off because the massive amounts of traffic wasn't allowing anyone to read the news posts, they'd just time out. So in order to keep up a line of communication with the players, the devs had to close the forums, and open up a player feedback form. I know, ironic compared to what the trolls are saying huh?

     

    This may have nothing to do with the trolling in this thread, Signus, but maybe you can help me... Do you know if the support@aventurine.gr address gets any attention? I have sent numerous e-mails regarding my problems with the pre-orders, most recently notifying the team that I have entered an entirely different set of billing AND personal details, in the hopes that they would be able to make a final effort to bill my account. I sent a read receipt with the final e-mail... And have received no response.

    Any ideas?

    That's where I sent my bug reports during beta, and they corrected the quest that I submitted the bug for (fairly certain I was the only one to ever do that quest). So yes, they look at it.

    game is "sold out" because of capacity limits not because of pre orders problems

    Don't worry about this, this happens with all of the mmo launches, they are overwealmed.

    Everyone and his dog is emailing about his issues, and in this case there are a couple thousands of people who can't login or worrying about their pre-orders...

    Don't worry about this, this happens with all of the mmo launches, they are overwealmed.

    Everyone and his dog is emailing about his issues, and in this case there are a couple thousands of people who can't login or worrying about their pre-orders...

     

    Yeah, I know that they're probably getting spammed to hell by everyone's problems, but if I end up stuck in with the order zerg-rush after the Beta invites fiasco (was a tester) and refreshing for close to ten hours on day one just to get my spot... Well, I won't be allaying anyone's fears about customer service any time soon.

    Excellent! I wonder what the next disaster will be ? Botting and macro'ers ? Exploits ? Hacked CC details ? Of course I am sure the payment account issues will go for awhile.I can barely wait!

    If you think I was being harsh then your mistaken as all the past few weeks has shown is how AV dances from one disaster to another.

    Yea and maybe the sky will fall on the DF server cluster?

    WTF cares about what happened yesterday or 3-4 days ago?

    This is launch, and problems are expected. I know it was really messy, but what interests me is how they are overcoming the problems and if the features we want will be in the game, at least soon enough.

    I don't care about past issues if they were properly taken care of, about non-issues or things that might happen. I care about now and tomorrow, let them show us what they can do.

     I can confirm, after two days of of such a bad situation one could only laugh at it.

    The game is now fixed, and working great.

    Is it perfect? no there are some menu items missing still.

    All in all thou for those of us who have followed this closely, know that Aventurine has not had a decent nights sleep yet.

    So im sure its coming.
