Update on new sales
7.00 PM GMT
Servers have been up all day and running smoothly. There are minor issues we're on top of and we'll issue a quick patch sometime tomorrow morning European time.
One issue that has been reported to us by a few users is related to long queuing times. Queuing times can be drastically reduced, even eliminated if you bind away from the starting areas.
We got to the bottom of the account not active issue and we're mopping up after it at the moment.
We hope we'll be able to open up sales sometime soon but we need to make a thorough check of the account management system before we do so as to prevent more unnecessary inconvenience to the users.
We will keep you updated as much as possible on any developments. We would like to thank you for your patience again for bearing with us through the initial setbacks we faced.

Yeah, I think it is safe to say that AV has made most of us a little jaded. How long do you suppose it will take for them to "make a thorough check of the account management system "?
You apparently are new to Aventurine and its behaviour. This company is a mega frustration generator since long. It breaths with your frustration. And sadly it didn't change after the "lol release".

Besides a long development cycle, the rest of the 'supposed' Aventurine mess ups were generated and overhyped by haters/trolls. Aventurine has done no worse than any other MMO developer, but for some reason they are held to higher standards than any other MMO developer.

I really hope your joking. Even for how few staff members they have they handled the launch horribly.
They are held to higher standard cause the game development industry is by far the most inept and inefficient industry out there.
Learn from the mistakes of the past.
Hire consultants with many years experience.
Quit trying to re-invent the damn wheel when is comes to networking an MMO.
The biggest problem with the games industry is how secretive it is. For gods sakes, intellectual property has an expiration date, patents only last 14 years in the US. But in the games industry, code from games from long long ago are still tightly held under lock and key. What suffers?
Development of new games in a reasonable time frame.
Astronomical budgets that in the end limit game content.
And disappointing outcomes when it comes to game releases.
All we want(I think so, I know I do) is a freakin ETA on when the orders will come up, just say something, not "soon" ffs.
Yes and they can be removed totally by removing this silly feature. If you get in or not is controlled by how many people are on a bind stone is dumb. Come on AV, get your act together .

The servers HAVE been up and running smoothly, I was just playing. I think some of you lost a little too many brain cells when you bashed your face against the wall after you realized Darkfall wasn't vaporware.

I can't find their previous updates (wonder why they delete them), but as far as I remember it was something like this:
Feb 22th: we will open more sales on Feb 25th
Feb 25th: we will open more sales tomorrow
Feb 26th and 27th: we will open more sales as soon as possible
Feb 28th: we will open more sales some time soon
guess what they will say Feb 29th? no idea..
