This or Darkfall?

Thought I'd post this here for a biased opinion from both sides .

Which one should I get? I'm new to MMO and wondering what game would suit me more. I'll list the pros and cons of each game so you can at least gather a little bit of info regarding what I like. Keep in mind I've not played both games, just getting my info from forums/vids.

 

 

Darkfall

 

 

Pros

- Full loot (this appeals to me...wonderi f AoC has it)

- Huge world

- Relatively new

- Lots of armor/weapons (is this true?!)

Cons

- Poor animations

- Boring combat

- Lots of macro (right?)

- Bad sound effects

 

 

Age of Conan

 

 

Pros

- Great graphics

- Good combat (?)

- Good quests

- Snow mammoth

Cons

- Everyone looks the same (?)

- It's more of a PvE game

- I'll get owned by lvl 80 noobs

 

So, which one?

If I were you I would probably try out AoC first, and then probably try out Darkfall when the game has settled in. And since you are new to MMO's, I would definitively recommend AoC, as it probably has one of, if not the best MMO newbie experience. The starting area in AoC is great for MMO beginners.

aoc for sure imo darkfall sucks.

check out games in free trials and see if you like them.  Both AOC and Darfall dont offer this atm and advising ppl to take either at this stage would be foolish.   There will be plenty of time to try them out when in free trial and you wont miss anything.

Darkfall will be getting settled for awhile while AoC has found its place. In Darkfall people are afk macroing for crafing and leveling up magic skill; however, that really isn't  a huge problem. Just means people that play legit may be a little less skilled out than a macroer.

 

AoC lvl 80 noobs don't really gank all that much anymore. At least in NA they don't
