Regarding Trading Posts

I heard from the AO forum that people are complaining about the trading posts. They said that high leveled players are earning 80-100 million a day without any effort at all.

I really dont understand this trading posts process. And I think there is this trading rights permission that costs nearly about 230 million.

Do you guys, high level ones, really do make such amount with little effort at all from this trading posts?

    trade permission is sold at a fixed rate of 1m. basically you buy a regional item from a certain town and sell it to another town with profit. i think now, the profit is lowered....

    In the last patch they changed the profitability of trading posts.  It's still pretty decent.  Essentially you buy a bunch of one item from one town, then go from town to town looking for a good place to sell it for a nice profit.  I've maxed out at about 50 mil an hour doing this, before the patch you could make over 300 mil an hour if you got lucky.  There are better ways now, high level dungeon runs will net you about the same now.  The best way to make money though is to be good at the Arena.  Getting 400 mil for 5 minutes of placing bets can't be beat

    i am on a low level yet and didn't really know  what is the trading post  so pls can you guys tell me some info about it... i appreciate it much thanks i advance.!!!! hope you answer it guys...

    You go inside a town and open up the trading post, you trade items that the town wants/needs for a profit, and buy items the town doesn't want/need.  Then take those items and go to another town and repeat.

    I see.. then you can sell it to other town with high price? is that how it goes?I just read fron the Atlantica announcements that the trading post has been balanced already

    yeah that's how it works, some towns will pay more for certain items than other towns, just based on how many have been traded to it.  And yes unfortunately trading post profits have been cut back drastically,  for awhile there I was making about 300 mil an hour

    that's how it's done? but with a  level like me level 51 do i get that much gold?

    or  just a minmum ? maybe it depends on how you trade or what you trade?...
