What is up with all the Europe only CBT's?

Ok... I just downloaded and installed Ys Online using MMOsite, nowhere on the official site or on MMOsite does it say Europe CBT... I get everything done.. hmm.. wont log in.. wont log in.. im like WTF, so I go to the forums, and turns out, only europeans are allowed to play!, way to advertise! so now I have an activated beta key thats useless to me, what a jip

This is no different from Korea testing out every NCsoft title before the West, or from Darkfall being Euro first, of from EQ being US first.
The US isn't the center of the world, get used to it because many games are going to be Asia/Europe first in the coming years with such a weak dollar. Complaining about it isn't going to change anything.

IP bans are asinine, just a money grab tactics by shitty companies who dont feel the need to research and localize unique games they just take a popular game and localize it, and if another company already has plans to do it, they just add an ip ban along with it.
YS online however has no US publisher, teh ipban is unnessairy.

Any company has every right to release how they want. You have no say on how and where a company releases. Why would they let US players on their servers if they aren't even releasing there yet? Servers aren't free you know, beta tests do cost money.
I'm getting tired of players complaining about everything possible like it's their god given right to moan and whine about every little detail humanly conceivable.
They don't want US beta tester, fine, it's their right, deal with it or don't buy their games. The end.
Of course if you'd watched the official trailer you would've seen the whole Europe thing at the end of it.

you guys completely blew it up. I didnt watch the trailer, I remember Ys from the old console days, and I never got to play it. I always loved everything I read about it though. Neither MMOsite, nor the official site have it written in big letters anywhere that its a EU only beta, I am not mad that I dont get to play, I could care less, I am mad cause I wasted 3 hours of my time downloading and registering a game I cant play, thats it. They need to take some things out of the fine print, and put it in big flashing banners to save the loss of bandwidth and precious beta keys, of which mine was wasted in both aspects. I swear you guys just look for reasons to flame.
I also notice all but one of you are european... betcha feel special attacking people for no reason LMAO
See that's your first mistake right there, a beta test isn't a preview it is a TEST and if your not in the area which is of interest to the developers why would you expect them to make it international?
2nd mistake was to download a game without even checking the official forums of the game(reading the forums for 5 minutes would have saved you alot of trouble).
3rd mistake was to get a beta key at mmo-whatever website then come and complain on this one that they didn't write on THAT website about the ip region ban.
It's about time we Europeans got the better end of the deal (not that i'm bitter or anything
