I'm still trying to figure out if it's worth it. The time card system seems weird to me, though if I buy the 300 hours that should last roughly about two weeks. Or does it only count the time you spend online?

I am also worried about the global language barrier. It'd be nice if there was a translated client out there or a modification that would translate everything, including player chat. I am not sure if I want to dive into this because I know I will want to buy the NA version when it arrives...

Edit: Do I need to buy the VPN? Also is there an alternative download link as the given links aren't working on 3zoom.com!

This is in-game time, so it should last you about a month unless you play for more than 10 hours a day ?

The 300 hours is how much time you can spend logged in. The only reason I got the game was to cut the hype out of it early before there was no way the game could ever live up to my expectations. Sure you can't understand the quests, and I'm sure if I could it would be a little more fun. But as it is, it's still a blast.

I've run into a few english speaking Koreans who I've had some semi understandable conversations with. Also, there are some english guilds playing the game, get ahold of them and you've just surrounded yourself with people who can help you out :)

Once my 300 hours are up, I won't renew the time on my account, I'm saving that for the US release now. I know I like the game, so I want to be able to play and understand everything. It was definitely worth it to get a feel for the game though and now I know it's a game worth getting excited about.

I agree it was fun. I played for 4 months on the korean retail (I let my time expire monday) now i'm just waiting for the NA release.

Mystik86 :  If you want to try it out it might be best for you to try the chinese relail (it launches 8th Apr). I think the korean one might be starting IP ban's.

Is anybody still playing this Korean retail? I just signed up for an account and got the client downloaded, but don't seem to be able to log in. Anyway, just wondering if this is worth the effort.

    Thanks!
