Why only one server?

I dont understand why they opened only one server so far? I see people saying that there is already 5,5k people online, so easy guess 10k+ subs.
How much they paid for game, 10,20$? Thats some nice money overall... Why not to buy some more servers? There is so much people waiting for game that would make real fortune...

Why does it matter to us how many servers there are? If the game is good, there will be sub and servers will be opened. Single shard or separate. Right now, we should step back and let the dev deliver a playable game. Everything else pales in terms of priority.

Hmm so only fanboys hallucinating that there is only few minor bugs/mistakes? If so i can understand priority, but i see so many posts how awesome (lol) game is and they saying game is as ready as all others... But at least in all others i could buy game and try it...

The game has its week and strong points , but right now the biggest flaw in DF is that AV is its developer. AV cannot seem to handle even the very limited number of players they first intended to service. Hence no more sales, no more servers. The good side of this is since they aren't trying to sell the game (when they clearly can't handle even current number of clients ) means they aren't trying to rip you off. They seem to genuinely want to make this game happen, albeit they are making a lot of amateruish mistakes in the process.
I am the type of player where I like to do everything and anything from time to time.
