Block User needs improvement

When I block a user, I no longer want to see the persons name in the thread, nor do I want to view any thread they posted themselves.
as it is now, Id like to block certain users who continuously spam forums and not see their topics but I cant. Im forced to view their topics and see their threads.
Also, if a blocked person posts within a thread Im viewing, i still see their name. Furthermore, if someone quotes a blocked persons post I see what they posted.
Block user doesnt seem to do much of anything really.

Make sense.
I think they have it set up that way so that you could at least know of when they posted. I think thats what your saying.
