Old UO player......will give this a try

I think when it becomes available I would try this game. The sad thing is .......I do believe this game will be short lived after Mortal Online comes out. Graphics are no big deal to me......I would still play Ultima Online today if they never added the carebear land. There was always a sense of danger .........collecting wood or mining......and seeing a red name come on the screen! Your heart stops .........My wish is to have Ultima Online ......with their crappy overhead graphics add a shard thats called old school pvp anything goes! If they did this I think the new shard would be flooded and old people would come back. I do not see that happening......so I look to Darkfall or Mortal online to carry the reigns. Darkfall though......I do believe is to far behind and will never catch up.........but I have hopes in Mortal Online.

All I can say about MO is that it doesn't have sieges and that is a turn off for me because it limits players driven politics. without losing a city, there isn't anything driving politics, unless players can control already built cities.

I can't speak for MO, but I can say that my few days in Darkfall have had a lot of politics.  I will probably be doing another write up soon to elaborate on this and some other thins I have seen so far.

And there's freeshards out there that are exactly like how Pre-Tram was. Why not just play that?

Yeah, MO will concentrate on much smaller scale pvp (Much for the reason of having ten times heavier engine), thats why I prefer DF.
