Do the asian guilds still own 90% of each server?

I had a great time playing that game though. People that think warhammer has some major zerg issues should have played shadowbane, rofl.

ARIRANG and there friends would turn up with 5 warbands full of prelates, sentinels, channelers and crusaders and aoe the crap out of everything. What was the other major PR guild called who had a white logo with a gold dragon on it? Big zergers who were friends with arirang?cant remember..

Then youd get those US guilds that thought they were really awesome pvpers but werent. Theyd all be called fairly leet names and play confessors and templars. If you killed one of them it was time to log out as youd get trash talk spam messages for the next 3 hours of them telling you that you got lucky or zerged etc.

Anyway, most of the playerbase will move over to darkfall once its out of beta, and now they have a chat channel to trash talk in!

After a week of playing, I have to say I'm surprised at how friendly and helpful the tone in the in-game chat is. It certainly doesn't mirror what is seen on the official forums. At least not for the human racial, and human/mirdain/dwarf alliance chat.

Too early to say anything about what the community will be like, though. It's likely that it'll end up kinda cliquey with a lot of smack-talking between guilds, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

I think theyre going to carebear this game down a lot. I just dont see new customers having a lot of fun around the type of people that the "original" idealogy was supposed to cater too.

screw them aventurine even said they're not trying to market to people that like dumbed down games

Is that why theyve started adding safe zones? Sounds to me like thats just the start of "dumbing down".

lol no it just adds strategy... but you wouldn't know what that is since you play dumb down games
Arcken, I think you're wrong. They appear to have added towers to a few banks IMMEDIATELY surrounding the noobie zone, and some rare outposts in the wild. Think of the small area as DF's version of hi-sec, though much less pervasive in both size and scope. These semi-safe zones have no effect on the overall game.

rr2real, you're coming off as an incredible idiot. The towers don't add "strategy" nor whatever other contrived bit of stupidity that might be made up to reconcile the towers to a hardcore mind.

yawn more 1 liners without having anything to say. Par for the course, I guess. You'd be better served joining the HardXCore ego tugfest on the official forums

dark fall sounds like the sort of game you roll as a 20+ pre made guild so its just safer in numbers, although i agree with FFA pvp it never works out because in the end the greifers DRIVE everyone off the servers. with the attitude (if you cant stand the heat get out of the kitchen lolz) then about a year down the line the griefers suddenly realise that the game they put all the work into is empty noone will play it due to the bad karma. and the people hosting the game in the end close it much sooner than they planned.

Always made me laugh on mordred when you got "leet" players always wanting 1vs1 duels with somthing overpowered when you have no chance against them. I always teamed with my buddy and when ever any of these numpties decded to duel me we would just gank them into the floor.

I find it rather humorus that that sit there and call anyone who plays any game other than Darkfall carebears....but in the meantime they cheat using using macros and whining about the other Darkfall players behavior.  LMAO!!!

...and more drama from a very poorly run game.

Played : WOW, LOTRO, COH/COV, EQ2, SWG, and WAR.
    Playing EVE Online and AOC.
    Wtg for SW:TOR and WOD

Another proof that the "idiocy constant" is correct: the worse the game, the more rabid the fanbois.

    Welcome to Darkfall. ><
