Ok 10 min to go. The account sites are already slowing. I expect that todays run for accounts will be even more furious that yesterdays. This is because they announced that no sales will occur over the weekend. If you dont get your account today or tomrrow, you are out of luck.

    Im giving up so thats one less person getting in the way of the Q. Ill just wait 5 months untill I can just buy the game without having to play the F5 mini game

    Anyone able to even login to their account page?  I keep on getting the "this service is not available" message.

    Nope can't even open the page. It says the product is european release, has anyone from the US even been able to get it besides a preorder? It seems like they filter out IP's based on location, but I could be wrong!

    I was able to get in to buy the game.......but I chickened out at the last second. I decided to give it another week or so to see how the game is going before buying.

    If that's true, which I don't think it is, that'd be a bad mistake on your part. You could probably have sold it for 150-200.

    I logged in to my account at 11:02 and got right in to my account.
    The link that normally says "The shop is temporarily offline" had changed to "Purchases"
    I clicked the link which took me to another page, which told me I had to complete my billing information before I could buy the client download.
    I decided not to buy. I guess I never expected to be able to get in in the first place.

    No clue if you're lying or not, but you actually didn't get that far into the process. By the time you entered your billing info and hit update (which with lag and timeouts would take forever), you'd still be only half way done with the process. So, you probably wouldn't have managed to get one.

    However, if I were you.. I'd try again tomorrow (even if I had no interest in DF I'd be trying) because you can sell it for 3x what you pay.
