Basically, it's all because that Brandom Crisp kid ran away from home after his parents took his 360 away.

Bad parents? and NO not because they took his 360 away.

If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude; greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

If his parents were worth a Damn he would never have gotten it into his head that running away because of no Xbox was a good thing... Now that I think about it tho he could be retarted... Ahh well.

Of course. I never said his parents weren't bad, but he was like 13, so yeah, he could have been retarded.

Course as you pointed out it is silly the number of "Reporters" that will jump at the chance for a Anti video gameing artical.. kinda sad really.

Watched the whole thing.  Worth a watch.  Only mildly irritating.  There was a laugh out loud moment where they played some clips of foul mouthed high-pitched children on xbox live.

Hope you got your things together. Hope you are quite prepared to die. Looks like we're in for nasty weather. ... There's a bad moon on the rise.

his parents handled the whole situation horribly, pulling the cord out while hes playing? The kid isnt listening to them and telling his parents "no"? I get the feeling he didnt respect them or have any real discipline before hand.

EDIT: and why are they saying that gore and violence is bad in video games? Why dont they mention horror movies and etc?

I blame the parents on this mess.    Sure the kid had a serious problem, but that problem grew out of the fact that the parents did not regulate the childs play time on the games in the first place.    Moderation is key here.   To much of anything is a bad thing.   Sad story...that is for sure.

To bad I spelt anything wrong.  LOL!  I partied a little to hard tonight...but omg...it was fun.   1 to many White Russians and some of the devils cabbage and omg....Kristi was feeling no pain.  LOL!   I also did some awesome tricks on the dance pole I haven't done in awhile.    I was very proud of myself.   ^_^

So I guess I should take my own advice.  OMG it is 5am here...lol.   I'll sleep until like 2pm if my roomie doesn't wake me up...she will though..."Kristi...pancakes...we need pancakes."   LOL!

The Fifth Estate is a well dressed version of a daytime talk show.  It's a great example of bad journalists trying to be Walter Cronkite.

Sheesh, the next thing you know, people are going to be suing dry cleaners for $15 million just for losing their pants.
