Yep have been watching that today,I am like a kid in a candy store atm,I have always wanted to try EVE but for 1 reason or another decided against it,I have the special edtion of the game being delivered on Friday and cant wait to finally get into the universe,the SE of EVE was a great idea with the newbie extra's and I am sure there will be alot like me that always admired EVE from afar picking it up and trying it out.
If someone had came up to me in 1980 when I was on my Atari 2600 and said we will be playing games with thousands of people at the same time.I guess my response would have been,"but I only have 2 joysticks"

That's awesome! I'm impressed with how CCP is weaving this into the storyline so well.
Back in EvE. Started with BatMUD. Main MMOs have been EvE and DAoC.

Are you serious or being sarcastic? The reason I ask is that I was a little concerned when reading about the expansion that somehow certain things would be nerfed. I have been wanting to try it out and since the expansion is released I thought no better time then the present. I have read the game is fairly hardcore in relation to PVP.
Thoughts?

umm considering that he said the anamoly destroyed a PLANET...and this is not a planetary game...yes that was heavy with sarcasm
So is Amarr like Al Qaeda now? I like where this is going. Both of my accounts are Amarr Ni'Kunni. If this turns out to be some new Amarrian technology that destroyed Sey, well, things could start to get nasty in and around Amarr space. I hope this is the case
CCP has done it again. I haven't tried post AP launch, but it looks to have deployed flawlessly. This is evident given all of the raging hard-ons EVE players have right now on the forums. You would think they just cured cancer.... Gratz CCP.

Sorry, I was just trying to be funny. I just started playing and 2 days later they destroy one of the planets of my race.
A couple of patches ago they destroyed a space station for Caldari (by crashing a Gallante Mothership into it) and later one for Concord (by a minmatar dreadnought fleet).
