Definitely goto www.newegg.com if your in the USA. As long as you know the cards that EQ2 recommends, you can do a search on newegg for what you want....and yes...Kingston Brand memory is recommended.
id say ebay, but then again. its all up to you, neweggs also good, i do agree with that. I dont understand the fight between EQ2 and WoW as they seem to be 2 different games entirely.
for a short note , WoW (after my playing impressions) was a mesh of Diablo 2 style gaming in a full camera, 3d world + World of Warcraft "wars" btw horde and alliance. without loosing the graphic appeal of the warcraft universe. very colorful too, in a nice cartoony way that i personally loved.
as i havent played EQ2, i cant cut it down, but my impressions from a outside view is its a really good continuation of what is the true D and D fans love for PvE gaming, exploring, a world outside of the one we live in, with endless race options.
i heard evercrack alot in the diablo 2 exp days, but personally any good mmorpg free or not free can be a drug to those who hate lifes boring routine, and need a extra escape or something as bold as a preumpt interactive fantasy adventure.
if everquest was crack, then diablo 2 was my bong and ganja. so i cant say bad or good to any game because its all opinion based, and game style based.
but back to the ram, lemme see here... hmmm...
if you look on ebay (1gb pc3200 in search field) or newegg, id suggest looking for distinctely corsair or kingston as it is quality ram for the value sections. without breakings the back of a extra 60-70 $
as for a video card, the 9800 pro should be pretty low on the price list, either that or if your willing to put 200 down on a 6600 gt from nvidia. which gets high apprasial.
I'd recommend pricewatch. You might be able to find some cheaper than on Newegg. You might have to search a little more though. www.pricewatch.com if you've never heard of it. I'd also recommend Samsung as a company. I've had no problems with them myself.
