Yea, i must be. Im playing Lotro.
In this game, we grind for months to get to the "end-game" where we grind for months to get the gear we need to grind for months in the fellowship/raid instances we need to grind for months for the gear we need to grind our legendary weapons up for years.
Get it?
Everything we do is sensless grind. And more grind.
We dont really play a game. We just grind. And grind. And grind. 1000 spiders. 100 stupid quests. 2000 spiders. 630 stupid quests. 55637 spiders. 100k bears.
For what?
Another level, so we can grind another bear/spider/whatever in another area that has the same monsters just with a different name and another level.
Its mindless and makes your IQ drop. My IQ did drop so low i almost paid for an expansion so i could grind even more. But in the very last moment the grind got to me and i stoped myself.
I started crafting instead. Or should i say "grinding for ore"?
I spent hour after hour after hour, running around noob areas after ore chunks to mine so i could get to the next level in crafting and run around another area for hours after hours after hours.... And when i did level up, i was given one stupid quest after the other.
Wanna be a good tailor? Kill a dragon. (no, im not kidding)
Wanna be a good cook? Climb a mountain. (makes perfect sense, dosnt it?)
Ever seen the Warlord of Angmar running around under a bridge desperatly looking for driftwood so he could level up in tailoring? Yepp, im that guy.
Thats how its done in Lotro, the most silly game ever made.
And we lotro players keep playing it becouse our brains have become so drained of any IQ that we no longer even remember what "fun" used to be like.
Please god, give us a good sandbox game with no levels that dosnt smell like Darkfall does. Mass Effect Online please!
