Cause a girl created it. Yes, men are that sad. I should know, I am one. Anyway, there is nothing better with being a girl that there is with being a man. Both sexes has their up and downs. I envy the multiple orgasm thing though Oh, and Girlgeek is right by the way, allthough a little harsh with her words after my tastes.

You're right.  I re-read what I had posted and it was pretty harsh, and for that....I apologize.

Honestly, (although there's no excuse for my being snappy and rude), I just get so tired of some of the threads on MMORPG these days.  It didn't used to be this way, even just a year ago.  I don't understand what's happened to it.  However, that did not give me just cause to take it out on ONE girl who happened to be one of the MANY posters.  She ended up getting blasted with the brunt my irritation that has been building up and certainly did not START with her, nor her post.

I apologize to the OP for the tone of my words.  I still stand by everything that I said....I just should have attempted to find a more polite way to SAY it.  I'm sure you're a perfectly nice young lady, albeit a bit misguided, perhaps.  But then....aren't we all, in one way or another?

This thread is the perfect example of why most adult gamers want separate servers from the under 20 crowd.

And I HAVE to laugh at that adorable little girl who says she "always makes more money than men."  You're either delusional or you don't live in the United States....or perhaps...both.  Have you never wondered why most corporations have a policy that forbids their associates discussing their salaries with other associates?  Or do you work at a fast food restaurant that has no such policies?  Do you realize that there are still actions being taken on a political level to help ensure that women are, indeed, paid equally for equal work?  Why do you suppose that still needs to be addressed on a political level?  Hmm....I wonder.

Anyway, I said it once before and I'll say it again.....

It is neither better to be male NOR female.  Both genders have difficulties and struggles, both have their share of pleasantries, as well.  Saying it's better to be female is as ignorant as saying it's better to be male.  Walk a mile in the other genders' proverbial shoes and you'd probably change your opinion to directly the opposite.

A tell-tale sign of immaturity is the inability to see beyond the end of your own nose.  You always assume that your life is either worse or better than everyone else's, when in  fact, your little life is no more or no less special than anyone else's.

Now you can have your little "game" of a thread back, and all of the adults that read this and thought it was idiotic and didn't waste their time POSTING that, can laugh at me for wasting MY time.

    *sigh

kthnksbye? <-----lol  (I assume this was your way of dismissing logic...how....cute)

Needed to be said, on so many levels.  I wrote this thread off days ago, but I'm glad I decided to see what Girlgeek had to say regarding the post.  Ha ha ha.

For such a geek it is amazing you haven;t looked at our ages and locations  before addressing the women on this forum.
It's okay you haven;t been around here that long so you haven't kept up with our careers, though most people here are already fully aware of the fields we are in.  Sure in the past, women were oppressed, women had to fight for the right to make equal pay, but thanks to those efforts things have now changed for us.  I  refuse to eat fast food  why would I have ever worked at one of those places? ROFL! Not even when I was in highschool and had my own apartment and had to skip meals to make bills I did not eat or work in a scummy place like that! lmao. ANyhow I feel for you, you are a bit older than the rest of us, so you have most likely had to deal with some of the older generations issues that we have not.  Now days women can and do walk in and are hired on at a higher position and pay than the men, and I know this for a fact because I was signing the paychecks.  Even the Female doctors and nurses were making more than their male counterparts.
Now I am not saying that it is always the case, but I am fierce when ti came to salary negotiations.. and even when I had employers try to undercut me I gave them the reason why I am worth more money.  ( and no it is not sleeping your way to the top) . That i think is the biggest issue here, most women just accept what they are given, you have to fight for it if you want it. I know I did. I never had an interview that I didn't get the job, I never took no for an aswer, I am one of those that walked up to the boss and demanded more money if I thought I deserved it, and never once was I refused.
Actually I am glad that we cannot discuss the difference in salary because it would have upset many men to know that I came in making more starting than they did after working there for 15 years .
I know that this is still being battled out politcally, but it also has to be battled out by each and everyone of us. I am a firm believer that we have no reason to complain about something if we allow it to happen. We have to take control over our own lives and tell them how it is rather than just accept what we are given.
I had one employer tell me " you surprised me, I didn;t think you had it in you" after I demanded a raise, and 3 days later I not only received another raise I received a promotion.  It can happen girls, it is happening girls.. we just have to make it happen ourselves and not expect others to handle it for us.

LOL! you do realize that you quoted that link is the link in my post right above it ? lol  After dealing what I have dealt with in the workforce, I think it is more of a problem of women not asserting themselves and demanding what they deserve moreso than anything else. We have to Take it if we want it otherwise of course they will not "give" it to us. don't make me chase you around like an ANgry greek! haha!

Being assertive and taking what you want rather then waiting for it applies to everybody, not just women at the work place.  Nothing in life is free.

No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-

The so-called pay gap results from a few factors:

    (1) women choosing different jobs from men (that is, jobs that allow more flexible time, are less physically demanding, are less hours intensive, or are otherwise what women "want to do to make a difference" ... whereas men tend to go for thr best paying job they can find, period)

    (2) women at the same exact position as a man choose to work less, be on part time more often, request flex time more often, and so forth -- resulting in lower pay

    (3) women stopping out for a few years from working full time due to their desire to stay with the kids in the tender years (surveys later compare these women to their age peers when they re-enter the workforce, and of course they earn less because their age-peers have more seniority at work than they do).

And ultimately, all of these disparities could be avoided if more women both (a) chose jobs on the strict basis of what they paid, rather than "I want to help people" type criteria and (b) women married men who would be happy to stay home and take care of the kids (rather than the current scheme where even very high achieving and earning women will not marry men who are not at least as successful, financially, as they are).

Enacting laws around this would only serve to subsidize female mate selection, at the end of the day -- which is not a good use of government funds.

Being able to date the superior sex! It sucks being a guy because we're forced to date the lesser gender :(.

I agree, many women and men do not assert themselves, allowing them to get walked on.  More women than me because they are usually less aggressive.  Though there are exceptions in  both.

I actually asked probably half a dozen of my female friends about  this. Most of them couldn't answer it, which was a shame. The answers I did get back were:

"You can wear guy clothes and girl clothes."

    and

"You have an excuse to act like a jerk once a month.. even if you aren't on your period."

hmmm....this question is...hard to answer. I think it is good to be a girl when comes to  public,  girls are always can be viewed as  "stupid " or someting when they made mistakes. But as a boy, oh.  " idiot, asshole " is always the respectful form of address for ya.

if i were a girl, i'd be a lipstick lesbian, and i wouldn't be able to keep my hands and fingers off of myself, and out of myself. º¿º i'd only be into other feminine lesbians, or bisexual chicks, too.
