reasonable people will be like, "hey, let me look at a game's website and find out about this game... my friends have told me stuff about the game and i'd like to know about it."
nowhere on the site does it state "hey this website is incredibly outdated, you need to scan thru a bunch of forums to find out what is REALLY in this game".
now, having said that, which is the expectation that a REASONABLE person should have, and it is...
everything you're saying would be "stuff" that an avid fan would do. i'm not going to make it a job to follow a game and chase down where i need to go in order to find the REAL information on a game whose website says they are accepting beta applications, nor would a reasonable person.
all this design decision removing stuff is fine. the fact that they're so incredibly unprofessional that they can't be bothered to update their website twice in 6 months time (oh yes i remember the border and other changes)...
but, stop touting this game as revolutionary. it's a persistent world fps.
there's no prestige classes.
non-repetitive crafting is not a part of this game.
there's no pets, no hirelings that go "level" with you or go with you and do anything it seems.
EVERYTHING i read on that website that WOULD set this game apart and make it revolutionary, seeming were cut due to design whatevers.

In announcements, Q&A's and journals the playerbase got informed on which feature has been put out and why it makes sense ..website isn't updated ..i haven't "touted" about features knowing they not in game -show me where..but you have called the game vapor ..knowing is a valid game that will be released and trying to lie and mislead people who had interest in it..

and then people still called it vapor ..put theories that all is some scripted fake..questioned game features that was not shown in video ...I am one of those who believe in the work developers when they small team over the big studios who just want cash and the game developer executes orders of marketing/salesman..

i am as curious about MO features as you about DarkFall when you visiting this forum...i replied to poster who posted a link and said "very interesting stuff there" ..but these video didn't answered many questions , some of which you can read above..i missed the intresting stuff..

Yea graphics, but what exactly is in that game ? How big is the world, any map ? what mounts ? teaser shows Rhino like mount and this shows only horses. How will be city building ? How is crafting ? How large will be battles, which tools will be there for clans to manage them ? How will be magic ? will there be healer ? Questions not answered by the video..

No it was in game footage to show state of the game..its is the first released in game video ..people want to know whats in the game ..

If they wanted to anticipate on these questions and answer them all in their first video, they would have to make a video running for about 5 hours.

reasonable people will be like, "hey, let me look at a game's website and find out about this game... my friends have told me stuff about the game and i'd like to know about it."
nowhere on the site does it state "hey this website is incredibly outdated, you need to scan thru a bunch of forums to find out what is REALLY in this game".
now, having said that, which is the expectation that a REASONABLE person should have, and it is...
everything you're saying would be "stuff" that an avid fan would do. i'm not going to make it a job to follow a game and chase down where i need to go in order to find the REAL information on a game whose website says they are accepting beta applications, nor would a reasonable person.
all this design decision removing stuff is fine. the fact that they're so incredibly unprofessional that they can't be bothered to update their website twice in 6 months time (oh yes i remember the border and other changes)...
but, stop touting this game as revolutionary. it's a persistent world fps.
there's no prestige classes.
non-repetitive crafting is not a part of this game.
there's no pets, no hirelings that go "level" with you or go with you and do anything it seems.
EVERYTHING i read on that website that WOULD set this game apart and make it revolutionary, seeming were cut due to design whatevers.
this game is a persistent world fps. it is NOT the messiah that's been long awaited. all of the messianic parts WERE CUT OUT.
i'm sorry that all people can see are shadows and ffa pvp with full looting.
i'm sorry that people, who according to darth raiden, knew ALL of this crap was cut out of the game, pretended like all of it was still part of the game, and have rampantly touted this game as "all that" for around a year now.
i don't enjoy stupidity, lies, or anything else that this persistent world fps seems to be covered in.
congrats, it's been kinda released... i would rather not pay a monthly sub for a poorly done fps whose selling point is that it's a persistent world and you get to keep what you conquer for more than a match. all that "crap" that was cut -- THAT is what made this game special... THAT is what people look on the website and go "holy crap, this game sounds incredible" about.

well, maybe not even them, going by how much posting has gone on during the first few weeks, versus actually playing.
In announcements, Q&A's and journals the playerbase got informed on which feature has been put out and why it makes sense ..website isn't updated ..i haven't "touted" about features knowing they not in game -show me where..but you have called the game vapor ..knowing is a valid game that will be released and trying to lie and mislead people who had interest in it..
Gameplay is very fun ..and the people who the game was for are happy with it..

and then people still called it vapor ..put theories that all is some scripted fake..questioned game features that was not shown in video ...I am one of those who believe in the work developers when they small team over the big studios who just want cash and the game developer executes orders of marketing/salesman..
Mo is a likeable company and their game..but also is Aventurine and DarkFall
When you are generous to MO then you should be generous to DarkFall, if you won't be generous then keep in mind how much you have seen about MO and what would you do because of that lack of that info if it DarkFall and visit their forums ..no different standards please..

The 5 minute video that MO showed, is enough for me to decide not to get that game. (motion sickness sux).
You yourself are showing different standards though. You showed some mild hatred to MO earlier, and now you say that you thinks it's a likeable company.
I suspect you are just a bit sour by the bad remarks on Darkfall, and wanted to treat the troll haters on this forum here with their own medicine.
You are free to do so, but then don't ask other people to use the same standards. Because not everyone here is a troll hater. There are also peope here who just have a different opinion than you, and who never even implied that Darkfall was vapor at all.

Schloob, I appreciate the.....review. I'm not sure what purpose you served by attacking the game. The only problem I have is that, according to your own words, you never figured out how to install it. I would say your problems started before you began playing.

It is, you missed the point, "Aint" is also in the dictionary, but in a college level course ( IE: if one were to be an English major ) the professor would still in fact correct the sentence to be something along the lines of "to those whom are still in denial", so on, so forth.

Well considering that "ain't" and its prior form of 'an't has been in the english language for over 3 centuries I think it has a place in the dictionary.
