Love the Game

Im a big WoW player and when ive took breaks in the past ive played different MMO's while i was away. I tried this game out on the trial during one of these wow breaks and i have to honostly say this game is awesome. I really dont see where everyone is saying it stinks i loved it beyond WoW, but the only reason i didnt play longer is because i was on the trial and i dont have a credit card. Do they still sell Game Cards at all? If so where? Thanks

    Hey there, darkchance!

Glad to hear you enjoyed the trial.

If you don't have a credit card, You could try a 30 Day or 90 Day 'Pay by Cash' Game Pass.

This gives you a bunch of other options in which you can take part in the Star Wars Saga!

Please let me know if this helps.

They don't sell SWG specific timecards anymore, instead they sell a generic SOE time card that works on all their major games.  However, if you can't track down one of those, the Visa rechargeable giftcards you can get in most stores will also work in place of a full blown credit card :)

If you look around they all have something wrong, Ive been shopping for a new mmo for a while, but I still keep going back to SWG. It still can be fun, but when you get burnt out from doing the same thing over and over it becomes unfun. Thats why I take breaks, mmos, are kinda like a drug, you can do things in mmos you cant normally do in RL. Roleplay someone thats differnt from yourself, pvp and slaughter till you get your fix. Thiers a hundred reasons why people play mmos, basically its the newest form of entertainment. And all entertainment is an escape from reality.

Just because your bubble burst doesnt mean someone else isnt going to have fun with this game. It really isnt as bad as most make it out. The technical side is good, good graphics, sound and a community of players. In fact thier is a pretty good choice of play styles in game. You have your rinse and repeate looters. The pvpers, the social addicts and a few other nitch groups in SWG. Its not hard to imagine that someone would find what thier looking for in this game.
