Can you actually stop the Spamming in the Off Topic Forum

Really the number of anti Obama borderline hate topics being posted everyday is pushing off the other topics. Could you create a special I Hate Obama forum section to move those topics too or could you just delete the excessive and unneeded repeat topics.

What they really need is a political forum.
Pot meet kettle. Where were you when every thread was anti-Bush while he was in office? Deal with it. It's payback time.
Personally, I think a politics and religion forum could be a good idea. As long as it's very clear that everyone has to respect other's opinions, and stick to the rules, be friendly and all that. Would be nice to shove that stuff aside.
As someone who doesn't really get affected by who's in the whitehouse, it would be nice to have less of that to look through to get to something that might be interesting

so is that what the off topic forum is for? personal political vandettas?
fact of the matter is, if it werent for political discussions being allowed on the off topic forums there are a couple users who just simply wouldnt exist on this site. Their posts consist of nothing but political trolling in off topic. I swear some of them have never touched an MMO before, but they can tell you how carter screwed up the economy while bush was in office.

Yeah i agree give them a forum for their discussions, i wasn't around during the bush times so really can't blame me for any of that.

While it was true we got similar posts during the bush times [some of which were actually ammusing] it NEVER got to the degree of posting we are getting now.

Im all for MMORPG.com creating a Political forum, and leaving off-topic for other things. I used to love visiting off-topic until it became just a spam-fest for political drivel. It's like the same 4 or 5 posters everyday. Normally I'd just ignore those posts and look else where, but these posts have been bumping the other non-political threads off the first page before any real discussion on the topic can be progressed.
Having a central place for politics would help those interested in the topic to find a place to discuss their views and ideas without impeding on the flow of the rest of the forum. I just dont see any down-side to this at all.

The word you are looking for is L-O-S-E. YOu can NOT loose a game.
one of the arguements these guys will want you to believe is that theyre serving some sort of twisted purpose by inundating you with political BS. If we made a seperate forum for this, Id bet my salary that it would only be visited by 6-8 of these die hard conservatives.
whats even more frustrating are these posts usually contain nothing of great interest. Half of them are promoting some random crazy conservatives blog that you never heard about. Not only that, but these guys insist theyre not insulting anyone when they constantly dehumanize people who chose to vote a certain way by giving them buzz-word nicknames claiming theyre worshipping a politician hoping their views fail.
really, not everyone enjoys seeing this garbage even if it is in the off-topic forum. its as offensive as allowing people to post views on sexuality choice and berating them on it.

change your Political Forum to Politics and Religion discussion forum. Religous discussions always end up the same, and surprisingly enough i see you in most of those as well.
