Question about return key.

I just got a return key but I need to be sure how it works.

After I enter they key it sends me to a page where I select my payment method, is that because I buy 1 month and get an extra 15 days or is it just for after the first free 15 days?

I really can't have any money charging to my account right now so I would like to make sure first.

    You wont get charged but you will have to cancel before the trial is up or you will get charged.
