You were correct before, You chose your gender in the begining of the char creation (all the char's are lined up). the female has the bow and the male has daggers, but you chose your class at lvl 10 so the male can be ranger at that time and also can use bow when just starting out if you get a bow in a drop. * both male and female are scouts but the male has daggers at load out*
Rangers are hard to play and master in this game, just to give you a heads up.
You can always delete the char and start over.

So just a few questions before i go off tonight. (BTW my test server client wont be done for atleast a few days my retail took like 4 days. And im also going away for a week this friday so i wont be playing until atleast sunday it seems lol.
1) are there any mirror downloads for the test client as the test client installer is getting 33KB/PS (And this is peak time for speeds...well it was when i was downloading retail anyway)
2) Do the characters ever get wiped? rolled back? etc. (like how stable is the database as ive seen test servers that never gave a crap to the chars)
3) How populated is the TS? is there alot of pvp later on? or is it a dead server.
4) what does the 7x rate apply to, i know it applies to exp but what about loot etc aswell.
5) mmmm what else was i gonna say....hmmm well i cant remember but also just incase this is possible and i dont ask like an idiot can you change the retail download over to the test server by any chance? instead of downloading it all again.

Alright, so i'm getting this error when trying to conect to the test server VIA the website. I am using a VPN (alonweb). I succesfully log into the website but unfortunatly i'm getting an error whenever i try to actually launch the game:
