I havent had much time to play the game yet maybe 4 hours or so and i have made 2 classes not very high in lvl. Warrior and mage is what i have made so far for Toons. The War is lvl 4 1/2 the mage is 3 1/2. So far the play style at this lvl doesnt differ much for both, you get a few different spells/abilities to differ the classes but you still basicly play the same. I do have to say both classes were still fun in their own way.
The Toon creation is great there isnt really that many option but with the options you have you can still differ yourself from anyone else in the game, it also kinda brings you closer to your toon cause he looks the way you want.
Quests, what can you realy do to quests to make them differ from other games.. Not much, not much at all really so yes you got the same plane old jane quests kill these come back and tell me you killed them and so forth.
Combat in this game really isnt that bad, its not hard to get use to nor is it hard to actualy target things in combat. The begining of the game realy helps you get use to movement in combat. There are a few different ways you can control your toon during combat. I find it best so far to lock the screen with R and use your mouse to fire the attacks and scroll through them. I am sure if you have a gamers mouse with x amount of extra buttons you can set it up to do attacks from your tier rows off those and make combat even easier for you.
The ability to dodge attacks in this game and move around is also a big factor, its easier then it looks and it doesnt make it hard to target what you are attacking either, its just something that takes a sec to get use to, and after time you will remember your skills and you wont even be looking at them while you scroll through and attack.
I didnt think i would like this game when i first saw it about a year or so ago, i decided to try it on a whim cause i was bored, that and they are letting you try the game for 7 lvls and you dont have to buy a box, if you like the game then just subscribe and play.. I wouldnt use the Acclaim if you choose to try this game just dl it from the EU site and call in to set up a subscription if you would like to continue.. It is only $14.99 for sure that way.
But as i was saying i didnt think i would like this game then and i only tried it on a whim, but so far i like the game, it runs pretty smooth combat is pretty smooth and keeps your attention. So far its a good game and i would say give it a try if you even have a hint of curiousity for the game TRY it its FREE.. My friend is running it on a Dell studio so you dont need much to run this game.
To end i would like to say sorry for blabbing on and sometimes having things run together its late for me when i wrote this and i had to get it off my chest.
I would also like to add i did not have a chance to have any pvp interaction the only things my experiance can coment on is the PVE aspect of the game. It Was fun so far

Glad you're enjoying it.
The classes start to differ in abilities a little later down the line.
Welcome to SB
You should head up to the 'moshpit' in Hawksmouth and call out for some people to get a better understanding of how this game works for PvP. You will only have the low level skills admittidly, but it will give you a very clear idea of what PvP is like in the later game in terms of skill bar and movement use.
Trust me when I say it's prolly the best mmorpg PvP system I have yet seen. Player skill is so important.
