Will 14-day trial erase an old account?

I left UO about 4 years ago, but now I want to revisit it and see what's new. I'm worried that by using the 14-day trial code It might somehow overwrite my old characters with a new account? It says "start an Ultima Online account with 14-days free." but I already have an account, just a deactiviated one??

You won't be able to play your old characters with the 14 day trial, but your characters won't be erased either. They are seperate accounts
