Delaying Missions?

Noticed there was a new option to "delay" missions offered when you talk to an agent. I clicked on this and the mission still appeared in my journal as "offered" (not as "accepted"). What I'm wondering is, if I do not accept the offer before it expires,

1. Do I lose any points?

2. Will the mission be offered again?

They removed the penalties for letting a mission or mission offer expire.

While there is a chance you will be offered the same missing twice in a row it's not overly common. But the total number of missions in each pool (agent level and faction) are not too high so if you just continue to do missions you will get that one again sooner or later.
