imageimageimageimage In the Special edition (DvD only) you get All these extras and a Dragon pet for your house. some of you have been wondering whats the diff between dvd and cd well if you got a dvd get the  dvd edition smame price less hasle cd has 9 disks and dvd has 2... and the dvd is faster to install. The special edition will cost you a few ore bux its 80 bux but its worth it if you can afford it. So if you got a dvd drive get dvd edition = 50.00 or special edition=80.00. Personaly im goign special edition myself dragons kick ass

Um, I hate to be the harbinger of redundancy, but this info is in like a thousand other threads on a hundred different sites. If anyone doesnt know everything about the different versions they must have just flown in from Mars...or from WoW.

I knew about them too, but I think if you think anyone who doesn't know flew in from mars, then you have absolutely no life image

pretty common knowledge. but, im going to get the collector's edition i think, comes with the cool map (cloth map). i can hang it on my wall next to all my original EQ maps. image it will make 6 maps up there, like a collage.

Anarchyart, I am absolutely not sure what the hell you mean by your comment toward me. And as to my having, "absolutely no life", well I have my own business and go to school full time in the evenings getting my Masters. So...uh...guess again. Dont make stupid assumptions.

Well, Vineyard, I believe anarchyart was making a figure of speech, and it wasn't a personal attack upon you.  It is obvious that nobody really knows anything about anybody unless the person talks about himself/herself, so...

Basically what I am saying is that keeping your temper is good etiquette in real life or online alike.  (And no, I am not saying you don't have good etiquette, just calm down a bit ol' chap)

I think its wrong to give away in-game goods just because you get the special edition. Maps, charts, special manuals even posters are ok in my book as extra material - but come on....a dragon? I hope not. image

"Supposedly"  I read somewhere the other day that in future expansions the baby dragon will grow up and be ridable/maybe even fight with you.  I swear I saw that on one of the official forum posts, but now I can't find it anywhere.

I would like it to be ridable eventuallyimage, but not sure about fighting with it? That might be a bit unbalancing - either that or it would be one wimpy dragon. image

LOL, a dragon pet for your house. I forgot for a second that you get houses in-game, so you can imagine what I was imagining ::::06::

aeric67, I had to read your post twice before I finally understood exactly what it is you are talking about image

the dragon is for your house, its not a pet...just an ornament for your home, nothing more.

Well my definition of a pet could also include ornaments... image

I highly doubt the baby dragon will be used in anything more than a decoration for your house. With SOE stating that they wouldn't let any included items throw of the game's balance.

Although, I can't see riding the Dragon throwing off game balance, if it was to point A & B.

    it's home decoration, nothing more...
