leather skinning/leathercrafting, or mining/engineering, and fishing too. I choose these because they fit well with my dwarven hunter. skinning, leather crafting for my armor(and the armor kits sell well too =D) mining/engineering for ammo and other goodies, fishing to feed my pet. I'm leaning towards the leathercrafting pair, although I'll decide during open beta. These combos work well, don't they?

since im gonna be using a NE Hunter, i'll probably go with skinning/leather

What crafting I tried in the ST pretty much linked skinning/leather crafting, mining/smithing, and herbalism/alchemy. Whether both on your character or one on yours and one on someone you play with a lot.
Enchanting seemed kind of standalone and I'd just started engineering - so not really sure.
I do remember tailoring couldn't make boots unless you had skinning or begged leather off someone else.
Seems like they would auto-link dependant skills - so leathercrafting automatically got skinning for example. Or at least sell required basic components at vendors.
Anyway - skinning/leathercrafting and mining/smithing worked very well. I'll at least do those on two of my characters.
Most likely skinning/leatherworking with my rogue, plus the three extra skills that we can take. What are they? Cooking, fishing, and something else.....

I will more than likely pick Tailor and Skinning, so I can get the leather needed to make boots. The Tailor will provide me with armor for my Undead Priest to be. Hopefully, my friends will be diverse in their character/tradeskill choices. If not, I will be trading/begging to have some Leatherwork done.
I plan on going with Skinning/Leatherworking on my NE Hunter and Mining/Smithing with my NE Warrior. To me these look like good combos to go with.... With other chars I will try out some of the others, but not sure which combos.
Well if I do start out as a Troll - Priest as I have planned, I will go Herbalism for sure, but I havn't decided between Alchemy (making potions), or Enchantment (adding stats to items)...Generally going for what suits my needs best hehe, and I can share the leftovers with everyone else.
Mining and blacksmithing for meand the later weaponsmith.
This has been the first mmorpg that i actually liked and used tradeskills. In the others i hated tradeskills speacially in lineage 2 since their item recipee where like ten billion things to make one sword.
well since they limited to 2 skills basically i thoguht ill get all secondary skills and also master in herbalism and Alchemy for my rogue (seen ppl do b4 so i might do that)

Since I'm starting off as a mage I want to do tailor.
I'm not sure what I might do for a second skill. Maybe alchemy.
What will he do next?

I think that at first i'm going to try enchanting/alchemy as a combo and see how that goes. Being a Orcish Shaman it should work out pretty good.

I was a big fan of alchemy/herbalism. While almost everything else took forever to get a good payoff, this combo seemed to pay off nice.
Of course, I'm sure to play multiple players running the gambit, so I will at some point use them all

I'm probably going to do something along those lines...
If you're a skinner people will buy the leather, so I don't really think there's going to be an issue with getting leather work done.

Likely, mining and smithing for me, not sure what else... limited to 3, yeah?
I'm pretty sure Blizzard set it to two skills.
And a sub skill? Which is fishing, first aid, and something else???
What will he do next?
Yeah its two skills + a secondary skill like fishing cooking and first aid!
i'll go with skinning and leatherworking on my hunter
and cooking as secondary
Well for my Gnome Mage Im going to take Herd gathering and alcmy.
For my Underad warrior Im going to take blacksmith and mining.
