Hello this forum is looking so so groovy and I hope you can help me with my problem!
Just started playing FFXI yesterday and I'm enjoying it very much, apart from the graphics are doing my NUT in!
I've got an Nvidia FX 5200 128mb DDR graphics card and after testing the game mulitple times while adjusting the FFXI config, I feel as if I'm getting the best images that I can.
The whole layout is bitty and has linear, scratchy textures... even after changing the config to the best settings avaliable, no real difference is made and I'm wondering why this game is looking so bad!
My graphics card is fine - no problems there, so what can I do?
It's ironic, but I'm afraid there's nothing you can take for your kleptomania.

You have to keep in mind that the game was designed to play on the playstation 2 as well, so that may be the reason for many of the graphical limitations we see in FFXI.
While its not on par with PC only mmorpgs graphically, I was pretty impressed with what they managed to do despite the console limitations.
Duno games looks good with me ?
but my friend his pc is slower and looks pretty ugly there so ...
just go to the site that protoroc said... if your comp can take the higher resolutions go for it. but just a heads up, this game is great if you get the best possible framerate out of it... the animations are awe inspiring
