New to the world of Everquest

in Everquest II

Hello.

I was wondering if any of you would be so kind as to direct me to a site with in-depth information regarding the history of Norrath/Everquest? I'm new to the world of Everquest (although I have played many other mmorpg's and rpg's) and would like to prepared when the game launches. I've added a few more questions below, please answer them as best you can. image

1. How does the pvp work in EQ2?

2. Will evil aligned races be marked as hostile by opposite alignments ( thus getting killed on sight) ?

3. How does the xp system work? I've heard of rest-systems being implemented in other mmorpg's.  will this be an issue in EQ2?

Finally, as mentioned before I am a serious roleplayer who plan on playing EQ2 ALOT when it is released - if any of you know a good solid roleplaying guild, please dont hesitate.... image

    Hello http://www.everquest2.com is good for info as for your questions...

    1. No PvP yet in EQ2

    2. yes evil chars will be killed by good guards and such

    3. no rest system in eq2

    Hi Sirian,

    I too am brand new to the Everquest World image and am currently participating in the 30 day free trial of Everquest (original) game...just to try something new and see exactly what got the mmrpg genera rolling!  I now have a lvl 3 Pally in Everquest!!!

    To answer your question though...the best site I've found for pure info on EQ2 is here...

    A very up to date site and nicely put together. Hope it helps you find out some new info, like it helped me!

    This was writen by my old guild leader Banegrivm Shadowblight, Sovereign Lord of the 1st Fist of Light and is a great tool to learning the past of norrath. I will say that the codex might be biast at point but all and all imho this is the best text out on the subject. Hope that help some ppl out. Late. image
