Why hasn't their website been updated after a month?
Ok, we all know their crappy looking website has been there for years and years... it looks like a 6 year old kid made it... but come on... the game has "officially" been out for over a month now and its still the same template... does this company have any clue what they are doing?

I guess it doesn't matter if they even have a website at all now. What they should work on as far as outside the game itself is the purchase and billing.
I am curious why they don't pay some dude a few bucks (even get a rabid fanboy who could do it for free) to design an updated site. Just more evidence of ineptitude, but not really important imo.
True, seems that they are only using their forums to tell people whats going on... Why should they have a site at all since they are only making posts on their forums... Makes no sense to me, they are very, very unprofessional looking right now...
Amusingly enough, they have a set of forum moderators who are very quick to close and lock down "unsuitable" threads on the official forums, so the claim to be short-staffed and "everyone's busy working on the game itself" doesn't really hold true does it; said forum moderators could so easily spend five minutes updating the website...if they (or Lord Tasos) really wanted to.
Stupity, incompetence, disrepect and outright lieing about the features in the product. Its AV take yer pick of one or ALL of them
"Hello Mr Lord Tasos, Please update your website as its still got stuff from pre beta which is not even in the game."
In a nutshell because they are arsehats. And Taco Belle's mum hasn't finished the book on 'web site design for dummys' that he got her for Mothers day. kind of academic really as she is doing customer service and accounts right now so no time for a web site update. Tasos left with a suitcase of pre-order money round Xmas.
I find it incomprehensible that sme one can not find half an hour to at least go through and update the text.
I think Aventurine have that site as a "bullet" to catch of idiotes that might otherwise end up in the game. And from what i know, it works excellent : )

Doesn't have to be 'amazing' most would settle for vaguely accurate. Seems to me to be a poor marketing plan to drive away potential customers whether they are idiots or not.

As every fanbot will tell you, they are focusing on improving the game and making it awsome, not wasting their time on the website.
Not funny in the slightest. Possibly a sad enictement on how completely unprofessional they are, but not funny at all.
What also isnt funny are exactly how strict distance selling rules are in Europe, and the extremely large fines that come as a result of openly flouting them.
Unless , of course, you think that not being bothered to spend an hour updating your sales page and leaving yourself open to banckrupcy and the end of darkfall as a game is funny.

Dunno but where I work the dev usually update the website as well as other needed softwares...
Mind you we're not a HUUUUUGE company (1k employees) but it's big enough.
I think the problem is that anyone who has worked more than 5 minutes in web design knows it takes only a few hours to make a decent, update website and AV can't even take the time to do it which says alot ...
Perhaps, or perhaps it simply says that they don't care about it.
Actually, if someone cared enough, they could be sued for "false advertisement", since not even half the features listed on that dated website are in the game. Greece is part of the European Union, and I doubt that country tolerates selling stuff that doesn't deliver what is promised on the box.
Now, of course, nobody cares enough... so it's irrelevant.
