Anyone using WoW Steelseries mouse?

Wanted to ask if anyone's using World of Warcraft Steelseries mouse to play other games. Is it programmable for other games (button macros)?
And generally is it worth spending 60+ quid (80 bucks) for a mouse? I've seen some pictures and the mouse is supersized, just like my paw so i'm thinking about buying it. Thing is if it's only useable with WoW then i won't bother.

just get a G9 its much better and works for most games.
MMO wish list:
-Changeable worlds
-Solid non level based game
-Sharks with lasers attached to their heads
G9 is superb but it doesn't have sweat resistant surface and is generally a bit small for me. Also G9 is a "Claw" (using fingertips to operate) mouse and is definitely not for me as I'm a "palm" (resting the hand on the mouse) player.
