Dueling Corp Members, Flak Exp

Dueling Corp members should be aloud, it dosnt let you b/c u cannot harm so the duel dosnt let u either, it sucks having to leave the corp just to duel a friend.

Flaks should also give u exp. for the person they kill. just as if u killed them your self. Or at least 25% of what u would get, flaks can be used in stragy in battle or camping those good ppl who have the luc of sleeping safly in ports. Maybe there worried about ppl camping the entire system and killing off npcs like nothing and getting like 5M exp in 4 days of game, so maybe they wouldnt affect npc only humans ?

    Yea, I definitely think that players who die from colony defences should reward the flak owner with some sort of exp... as you said atleast 25% of a normal kill... i think 50% would be fair... it would encourage more people to defend colonies to the max or more strategically etc. and also the starport trap thing you mentioned... although it would also make ppl set up 100's of turrets just ouside UN space to kill any passers by... hmmm...

      I would also like to see it say something like "Tempunaut's deployed defences shot down Lazydeath" rather than just "Deployed defences..."

    Actually Tempunaut, about a month or two ago on the Battle Royale server this player named Zerok filled the main system into/outof Sol with hundreds of turrets. The place was completely impassible by anybody without at least several thousand shields. On top of that, he and his corporation would just camp the system themselves and kill everyone that entered it to get the experience themselves. Basically, this completely ruined the game for newbies and it pissed off EVERYBODY. Eventually everyone got so pissed that all the top players (including myself, Xena, and Klump, among others) joined together and decimated the system back to nothing.

    The bottom line is: DON'T BE AN ASSHOLE GRIEFER BY FILLING A SYSTEM WITH TURRETS.

    It prevents new players form enjoying the game (who therefore stop playing) and in addition you'll eventually be taken down by the other top players for being such a douche.

    Got a better idea I think.. first make flak turrents(and other new turrents coming) only deployale on a planets surface, then add another type of orbital defense system(one or 2 per system maybe) that works like the solar cannon, and cannot be destroyed. That way u wo't see thousands of turrents in systems, but would also prevent ppl from trying to invade a planet.. kind of like a deturment to landing.

    it does make sense to get xp from flax, but only in defence of a planet, because, like what happend before, filling a system with flax, and/or starports, to get sleepers when they log on are just not honorable, i like this game alot especially when people play to have fun, and not be retarded by being cheap. xp for onplanet defense should be rewarded
