Noobish Questions

So I started playing Atlantica last night. I got to lvl 11. I love it! Here are some things I havent figured out yet that maybe some people could answer.

1. What is might for?

2. How do I begin crafting things?

3. How do I know how many "bonus points" my mercs have? (for using growth pots)

4. Is there a limit to how many times I can raise skills using the skill books?

5. When do I start being able to get different classes?

6. My main is an archer, is this a good idea?

7. Why does the gunman feel so useless?

8. How and when can I join the free league?

    1) Might just seems to be how powerful your character is (level, equipment, etc). I have no idea how it's calculated. Why it's there, I dunno, I guess so you know it's doing something when you upgrade either gear or levels or whatever.

    2) There are quests that explain it . I don't remember when they start though.

    3) Says on your character sheet (hit space bar, then click on the + on the portrait.). Bonus points: X

    4) Yes.  Beginner books raise skils from 1-20, Int is 21-40, and Advanced is 40-60.

    5) Look in your quest log, you can see all the recruitment quests for other classes. But I hink it's like Monk 17, Viking 20, BT 44, Witch 53, Princess 63, Exocist 57, Lady Knight 95, Jannisarry 96, Inventor 93?

    6) Dunno, never played one.

    7) Well, gunner's aren't useless, but they are probably best used in conjunction with an artillery dude in a stun build. Since they don't do a lot of damage, their main value is simply hitting a target.  (If you hit a target for 3 turns in a row, they get stunned. This is usually only a big factor in FL though).

    8) How, it's pretty simply. There's a pop-up when FL starts, you just click on the button and apply.

    When you can, I don't remember.

    trancejeremy did a good job answering your questions, so i'll just add some of my thoughts

     

    6. its a good idea to have an archer, just know its strengths and weaknesses

    -the silence skill can be very helpful in free leagues

    -it can attack anyone(from first to last row), great for destroying scrolls

    -on quests, great for attacking main bosses without going through the wall of annoying mobs

    -its low vitality makes it vulnerable to attacks and spells, so better keep it at the back rows

    7.gunners are pretty much like archers, they deal a pretty good amount of damage. but with its low vitality, keep it away from danger

    8. regarding free leagues, i dont remember at what level you can join either :)

    add..  regarding free league you can enter in level 20.

    oh yeah! thanks for the infos guys. it really helped me a lot! now i am in level 25 and still enjoying the game. :D
