It´s either vote bioware or vote turbine if one dosen´t like turbine in some way they should vote for bioware (unless they like bioware less... how that would be possible i don´t know)

Turbine has not made one memorable game.  By contrast, every game Bioware makes is a game of the year.  Clearly, there is something seriously wrong with this poll.

I mean the first halfway decent game they have made is LOTRO, and I mean just decent. Almost every game Bioware has released has been a blockbuster. This poll makes no sense. I could understand if it was Bethesda vs. Bioware, but Turbine? Sheesh..

Sure vote for Bioware, they only sold their souls to EA for a handful of copper - they easily could have gotten 30 pieces of silver. But more to the point, they haven't made a really good game since BG2. (no, KotOR wasn't a really good game. It just seemed that way 'cause everything else at the time sucked so badly.)

Turbine has had in game links to the contest, other devs teams have not done that.

Steam could have but didn't.

Ever heard of Icewind Dale? Neverwinter Nights? Or how about Mass Effect? And I beg to differ on KOTOR, it's one of my all time favorite single player rpgs. I mean all these games were excellent.

You forgot to add that everything you just said about how bad BioWare has been since BG2 was in your opinion. 

 

For example, myself and many hundred thousands others (maybe even millions) loved the hell out of Bioware games in recent history.

Uh. There it goes again.

No one cheated . The Escapist team does their best to explain it very often, but the discussion is so huge that many people don't get to see it.

Every company was informed about this voting and encouraged to support it. Some did, in fact - most devs. Relic did and went high, Bioware does now (their Reps do it now very actively), Blizzard even did, but players were not so interested.

Other companies just didn't care much, but that's their rightful choice. Turbine has great contact on forums with their community, and players like their down-to-earth, unique & friendly approach. And we love their games.

I was the person who informed DDO EU community about this contest, not devs. So don't exaggerate it too, DDO players are just very active sorts in general.

Just vote how you feel, if you like. That's 100% fair, and this voting take into account ALL factors. Not just games, not just community realtions, not just bugs and disappointments, it takes it ALL into account. Vote how you heart tells you .

Turbine in the finals for the second year in a row is success enough. Last time they won.

All the turbine fanbois are over on that forum and when Bioware release their mmorpg and if that website does this again then Biowares mmo community will make them win. This vote is pointless because it doesn't paint a true picture but just fanboi bias and I'm sure if you did a poll of normal people in real life none of them would have even heard of Turbines games but all loved Mass Effect and KoToR.

This is like going to Gametrailers and doing a poll of something vs anything PS3 cause all the PS3 fanbois are over there and you know what'll win.

Yep EA acquired it a long while ago.

Damn, I missed that. I'd prefer them to stay indenpendent. Just look at Mythic and Warhammer Online... I don't think EA did it well. Maybe some large amounts of cash. But if someone gives money, he want's to be involved and affect the one who benefits.

As much as I'd like it otherwise, I don't trust EA at all.
