I know that there are many people purporting to be playing this game and having a blast, and Acclaim is a brand name with a track record, but my experience of this game is curious to say the least.
1) Kaspersky hates whatever it is doing, and keeps on telling me the programme is behaving exactly like a keylogger. I added this to my trusted zone, but I am not sure that was a good idea.
2) I cannot log in. The moment I type in my pw and press enter, it crashes with a critical no label error. This is being discussed in the forums, but there are no workarounds, and everytimes someone posts saying they can't log in because of this, the thread is locked and they are refered to the general 'no label error' thread. Which may seem like wise forum management, except 99% of the posts in the no label error thread are from people who get into teh game quite easily.
All I know is that this programme is doing weird stuff on a PC which runs every other game as smooth as butter.
Given it's a free download, it all makes me feel less than confident.

That's simply because Kapersky and GameGuard don't see eye to eye
Yep, Kaspersky has always had issues with Gameguard.
I never could understand why people run realtime AV scanners while gaming anyway. I have been gaming for more than 10 years and have never let the scanner run in the background while gaming. Needless to say, I have never, ever been infected while gaming. Not to mention the performance hit you can take with disk intensive games. Imagine that scanner doing it's thing while the game is trying to do it's thing. Slow down!
it's a free trial. Almost every game on this site has one. Should we be suspicious of those as well??
In actuality, there is a sticky on the official forums about the false positive generated by gameguard.
It does suck about your No Label issue, though. It's being worked on HARD....they are really trying to nail that one. I myself get it once in a day usually, while zoning.
Add TCOS to safe area and it will run fine.
As the above stated: add TCoS to the safe list.
I will be in contact with Kaspersky soon.
