Crossfire?

Two questions, I have a HD4870 and was wondering...

  1. Do MMOs recognize crossfired vid cards?
  2. You can only use a single monitor, not dual screens?

    Most mmos will not recognize crossfire and may infact cause problems.  You can always dual screen as long as you have 2 DVI-e ports on your card.  Not sure if you can quad screen in crossfire since it puts all outputs through 1 card.  You can out of crossfire.

    Apparently in Lord of the Rings Online you just need to set FakeFullScreen=False to get the 2nd GPU to kick in.   I know it works well in Age of Conan.  Can't speak for anything else.
