Im heading out today and was going to pickup DAOC again. Ive read there is 1 box that has all the expansions.

My question is, which expansions do i need to get the most out of playing the Classic Servers?

I am going to play Albion "Classic", i would love to join a guild that doesnt mind an old guy asking a lot of questions.

Last question. How do you respec your character on the classic servers now adays?

Thanks a lot for reading

Classic servers support all BUT the Trials of Atlantis expansions.  So if you want the latest graphics you'll want the other expansions such as Catacombs, Darkness Rising and Labyrinth of the Minotaur.  All 3 came after ToA.  If you can find the Anniversary Edition game box set.  It comes with all of the expansions in one bundle and you can find it for dirt cheep... dependent of course on availability.

The /advice channel will be your best friend then.  You can ask questions to a wider audience then just your guild and could get a more straight answer... usually...

You can still respec for free at level 20 and 40.  You also get yourself a respec stone (realm abilities or regular abilities) and then turn it in to the appropriate NPC and tada!  You have all your points back.  I have never played Albion long enough to know where the NPC is located so I can't be of much help in that respect.

Hopefully that helps you out.  If you got other questions either post here again and I'll get around to them or just PM me.

Down with Albion!  Long live Midgard!

No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-
