Do you have to be a paying customer to have a chance in pvp?

 

 

 

 

 

 

I played AO a year or two ago as a froob (only for a few weeks) and actually i found the game to be very very fun. I never got very high of a level because i was quickly engulfed back to WoW. Having not logged into WoW for at least 2 months or so i think ive given it up!

 

And.. now im looking for a place to spend my time. Im trying to look at free-to-play options so that explains my post here. I have guild wars and all of the expansions but after only 2 weeks im terribly bored there.

the only way u could be a tad good in pvp as a froob is to roll a trader, the lower lvls are your best option. but honestly only upto lvl 14/15... after that no matter how good u twink paying customers can always get an advantage over you. there are however a few froob pvpers (most trader, some GA fixers, and a lonely doc ^^) at higher lvls and they seem to enjoy pvp a bit at those lvls
