Noob question: how can i turn off my monitor when i am hand net.

ok, here is the situation: when i open my bazzer and selling stuff, i want to turn off my monitor, caz i don't wanna it on for like 6 hours while i am sleeping. anyone can tell me how to do it, without just simply turn off monitor? ( i heard that's bad for monitor).

i know this a  very noob question, but i really need your help. thank you

Right click on desktop, go to properties, go to screen saver, and at the bottom it says Monitor Power, click the Power.. button and there it is, After a while I made my screen go on standby
