"Beatrice" Build :D

As many of you already know, Beatrice is the Princess in the Arena battles. She tends to always have 6 ranged mercenaries with her. Well the other day I was thinking to myself, hey she has 2 slots open, one for oracle, one for monk :)

So I tried this build out in some of the toughest places (babel, central asia, and some ind), to the laughter of my guild lol:

Artilleryman / Cannoneer / Janisary
Cannon(main) / Inventor / Dark Archer
Princess / Monk / Oracle

This can actually do pretty well, just several things you have to look out for. The biggest thing is at level 120, with level 60 (plus charm) your Princess runs out of mana fairly fast (about half her mana for 1v1 fight). The only other problem I had was stuns, but that's what monk is for. Once you get a Combo 2 on one of your mercenaries, be sure to get awakening on them asap. I'm not sure, but it seems that when stunned your mercenaries lose the princess buff. One of the neat things is that your heals will do alot better than on a BT or Viking, since most ranged mercenaries have pretty decent magic defense (m def raises the amount healed now)

Just thought I'd post this, and let everyone know that you don't have to have meaty shields upfront :) Althought I wouldn't try this in PvP, unless you snipe :)

    Well, at least in the current state of the game, melee characters are nerfed. Only how many health points a merc has really matters, not what sort of armor they have.

    So an all ranged build is definitely viable. I fight them sometimes in FL and generally lose.

    i thought bea in the betting arena your talking about... hahaha.. but anyways.. thats a good strategy and i heard that range attacks will be nerf in the next patch... nice.. i have range mercs as well... but i don't have princess in my line up... im not into healing of range since i have oracle in my line up... that should be enough.. ^_^

    yeah its a good thing for the attack of the range type it will be altered to a melee type

    wow what an interesting line up... i think i already fought a lot of guys using this build in FL and they really gave me a hard time...

    LOL! this is funny...it was something ive wanted to try in PvP too...actually i was thinking of an exorcist and 8 staff wielders :P... something like a shaman main, two monks, a witch and 4 more shamans :D i love passive skills ^_^

    then that will be useless if  your enemy is good in using the exo you can't do anything !!!

    I tried that for about 5 fights...it doesn't work out very good, BUT if you can survive more than ~10 turns you win.  I had all staff users with exo infront and went 1-4.  It seems the longer the battle goes on the better, my only win was a long game, the others were pretty short though.
