Imperator - New MMO by Mythic

This is the latest MMO in progress by Mythic, makers of DAOC. http://www.imperatoronline.com/

In looking at the newly release screenshots, I instantly think of AO. The game is supposed to be in a fututistic Rome setting (had Rome never fallen) with aliens, multiple planets or somesuch. The playable races will be human and meta-huma (meta...where have I heard that before?). Although the graphics look nice and DAOC had some nice features, I wonder if this isnt just the same game in an AO setting, Planet Camelot? - hopefully not..lol. There really isnt enough posted about it to tell yet but it will be interesting to see how it develops.

    Cant really say much about the game right now, the screen shots look like. We will just have to wait and see image

    I love what mythic did with DAoC, but I am totally uninterested in imperator right now. I'll keep my eye on this one though as mythic just may pull off another great game.
