Couple questions...
In classic are there certain classes that wont be there? Like the vamp?
Ive downloaded the free trial and am wondering if that will combine with the new box set if I end up buying the game

Classic Servers have all the classes on them. Nothing is missing class wise. The only thing the Classic Servers don't have is the Trials of Atlantis expansion. That's it.
As for your other question: Once the trial is over you can continue paying and playing it just like a regular account. You can add expansions to it if you so chose. I would however suggest that if you like the game after your trial is over go out to a game store and see if you can get the Platinum edition of the game that comes with all the expansions in one box for dirt cheep now. You'll get 30 days of play as well so it's way better then buying the last 2 expansions for $40 when the platinum is less then $20 sometimes even cheeper.
No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-
is there a list anywhere of which servers are on which clusters?
i looked, halfheartedly, and didn't see anything on the few daoc sites i remember.
friend told me that i should start on devon cluster..will it tell me which cluster the server i make my new characters on? or can someone here just tell me a server that will put me on devon cluster?

Devon cluster is not classic (by the way); but, if you have friends there, getting encounters done is not that difficult with the changes Mythic has made (can utilize RvR bounty points).
Only reason I no longer play is due to the need to utilize a second account for buffs; if they'd allow you to use BP's to buy buffs, that would solve the issue...but, Mythic chooses to keep the system the way it is. So, I choose to play other games.

Good luck half of the Bossiney classic loyalists moved to Devon cluster recently therefore I cancelled my account do to lack of action during U.S. primetime or anytime for that matter.
