Why do people feel the need to....

Bring up things they used to do in MUDs or still do in MUDs? MUDs are not MMORPGs they don't have the same parameters as computer games. So even though you once played a mud whre you could do some weird thing that really isn't even possible in a video game why do you feel the need to use that as a comparison. They are to completely different mediams. This isn't a rant mind you just a bit of curiosity.
