TO OP ----- FYI---- VULTURES DONT ATTACK THEY SCAVENGE THINGS THAT ARE ALL READY DEAD---THE VULTURES KNOW ITS DEAD NOW THEY JUST PICK APART THE CORPSE OF A CRAPTASTIC GAME
100% correct. Nobody who has played this game, except for the developers, want the game that was being made to see the light of day. The game is no longer in development (no matter what you want to hear).
The only only hope Stargate fans have now is Stargate Universe. If SGU goes on a 10 year run like SG-1 did we might one day get a Stargate MMO. At this point the franchise is on its last legs. It's been weak for years and if SGU doesn't get a 3.5+ share in the ratings it won't last longer than 1 season. Then the franchise will be closed.
You'd think from these posts that people were paying for the game...yet it hasn't been released, you'd also think that if so many are so uninterested in the game being released they'd not bother posting at all.
Games have money problems...they have development problems, does it really matter until the game is released? Nope.
Life is about Living, Sleep is about Dreaming, Games are about Strategy!

I'll be the first to say I want SGW released, I want to see those who put blood sweat and tears into it rewarded. Hell I just want to play a great Sci-fi MMO, one based on Stargate is fine by me. But then, I liked Tabula Rasa and that didn't mean squat for their success. I also want as much of the truth about CME and "what went wrong" to be known as possible. A) so the fans understand and so somone else somewhere can avoid the same mistakes. And yes, lastly, C) if there was any criminal neglect in the process, those responsible properly punished. But then that's because I think far too often in corporate america those with the biggest paychecks are the least affected by the decisions they make.
