The bigger issue is how the zones are setup and the fact that everyone just goes to one zone and does PVP or PVE in that specific zone. This leaves people wanting to PvP or PVE for rewards in lower tier zones stuck and out of luck. Looking at now I think they would of been better off just having one zone per tier and not of wasted time created the 2 additional zones for both side that end up rotting away so to speak.
I downloaded The Trial But Didn't Really See a future in the game for me.. Like the Op said If their's

Yeah, even though the trial is limited to Tier 1.
