Hi, don't worry about it, just turn the Anti-Virus program while you install and maybe setup your Anti-virus program to exclude TCoS exe.
here's more info:

Then play it? TCoS puts up false flags on a ton of AV software because of how GameGuard operates.
Bans a perma, but so are sigs in necro posts.

Likely a false-positive. I remember when testing we were getting a false-positive from a few different AV's with the game client itself, so it could be that.
Now, if you've downloaded from an officially sanctioned source, then there should be little to worry about.
this game is damn cvool so far, lol only been playing for an hour then the server went down, I love the fact that you can make a big fat ugly old lady its great, kk, yeah the virus alert was a false posative, ignoring the alert enabled the game to open, thank you all for the help

AVG 99% pf the time its most likely a false positive if you even know what that is like when starting a game trainer it will be seen as a trojan etc when its not just ignore:P not EVERYTHING is a virus that will hack your backdoor and stealz your infoz goddamn noobs

The game installs GameGuard which is a rootkit. Many A/Vs will ignore the illicit practices of GameGuard simply because it is commercial software but make no mistake, it is a rootkit and what it does to yoru computer seriously comprimises yoru privacy and control. Sure, GameGuard may not do anything that a malicious rootkit or virus would do but it could if they where so onclined to. Personally, I do not differentiate between good and bad third party control of my PC so I suggest you avoid TCoS until they dump the rootkit.
