"Crazy" idea to settle all the confusion about virtual property

Remember when we used to pay virtual cash to get virtual items? No worries about buying a virtual item with real money and then having it nerfed. No worries about gambling real money for a chance to get virtual loot. No worries about taxation on virtual purchases. No paying real money entry fees for a chance to win virtual loot in tournaments. No worries that you won't be able to compete in pvp or be useful in pve without paying real cash for the latest virtual gear.
Yup, virtual cash for virtual items. Call me crazy, but it seemed to work just fine.
P.S. I'm posting this as I reflect on how SWG's business model has changed, but I'm sure it has a much broader application.
