Well here we all are folks...Some hoping, Some in Beta, and some of us trying in vain to find something to do. We are the future Everquest 2 citzens and we are all just lost at sea...
I am not sure how many of you are watching the offical forums at Everquest 2 site, but Moorguad one of the Devs just released info that another Beta server was going to be opening. With the World of Warcraft and the Matrix hot on their heels or neck in neck with SOE, do you think they can get it finished and online in a very smooth start.
OR
Do you think we will see a December Release () or maybe in the new year???
I hope to see it soon until then I just I will go back and watch the forums and gently float along with the tide...

I'm fairly confident that EQ2 will be released in November.
However, I cannot comment on if it will be a smooth start. I have no idea. No one really will know for sure until release.
People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.
You left out this option: "The game will be nowhere near complete but they'll release it anyway"
My guess is they will make it.

6. Are you meeting the objectives/goals on the project base on your timeframe? Have you encountered any hiccups recently which cause timeframe or strategy changes? Has the beta test run according to plan and are you confident in your internal timeline goals for the end of beta and release?
JB I am proud to say we are moving forward with our planned goals and we will be shipping in 2004. With a project this big we have expected and received many curveballs along the way. This team is amazing at reacting and overcoming those issues, and the results have exceeded our expectations each time.
Pretty much everything that will be in EQ2 at release is in the game. They really only have the lag and bugs to work out.
