best programmable keyboard on the market, give your opinion

I am currently playing lotro and aion using two computer simulatenously, playing 2 chars on 2 different accounts.

However right now i am doing this very inefficiently, i.e. select parter member,/follow, /assist, spell, etch

I would like to know what best keyboard is on the market in order to program macro keys. I did some research and read about G15, but would like to know if any special keyboard would exist where you can control two pc at same time simultaneously, probably not since this is such a specific need.

However I will probably go and buy the G15, would like to have some opinion first.

I was reading a few other posts and apparently Game Guard (protection system use for Aion) would stop main functionnalities of the G15. From what I read for lotro there wouldn't be no such issue. Turbine clearly mentionned their views on it, there was even a player discussing with developper on a forum. Thanks for posting.

I disagree with that statement.  Aion can either not start up with the keyboard macro program running or let it work.  There is nothing Gameguard can to do stop the keyboard macros otherwise.

I have the G15 and have run some of the f2p games that use this system, my keyboard macros still work.  Now a different version could be with Aion and prevent you from running Aion, but gameguard can't disable the keyboard program, that would open them to a lawsuit.

I'd suggest you take a look at the Merc Stealth I'll probably be buying one next month. I decided to get this over a G15 due to the fact that macros have no limit to keystrokes, better anti ghosting and the USB ports on the board are both USB 2.0. Also you only use up one USB 2.0 port on your tower and get two in return. The closest keyboard in my opinion is the G19, but it's way too expensive.

I think this keyboard is better than the G15, for my needs atleast and deserves to be considered whenever purchasing a gaming keyboard.

Regarding running multiple rigs on singe keyboards/mouse, you can get a kvm or there are some software options.

The Roccat Halo is worth looking into if you're all about lots of fucking features with customizations and macros.

If you're looking for a keyboard with macro capabilities but also great keys and feel I can recommend the Razer Lycosa. Best response and action next to the SteelSeries 7G in my opinion(but that board has no macro features)

I might have a look at it then. Just need to find out now how time consuming it takes at the beginning to get used to it then. Thanks for your reply, very appreciated.

I just read about this item on wiki, I did not know something like this would exist before.

This is exactly what I need indeed. Do you have any recommandation, how easy is it to get?

So technically I could use one high tech programmable keyboard and press a key to switch to the next computer?

    Such a feature sound incredible.

Thanks for your precision, I will go from your experience then. Really useful to know.
