    Considering what i have heard about this game it is lacking in many aspects but the combat system is worth checking out at least, because this game is still in its toddler stage and i have seen some amazing mmorpgs evolve from crap, and some start strong and turn to crap, so i will go in with an open mind.

I love the art. It's a hate it or love it sort of thing. Those looking for Conan 2 graphics will be disappointed.

Those looking for circa 2006 graphics will be disappointed.

I played through the Euro betas, US beta, and a bit at release to see if it changed. It's the same. It's a mediocre game that will find a small niche with a few dedicated people. The environmental graphics aren't horrible, the avatars are laughable.

I thought that the dozens of identical little kids scattered  around picking their noses were the product of amazing art direction.  I don't mind if a game's graphics aren't amazing. For a 2009 release you have to admit it's a bit under par with modern capabilities. However, the reasons I dislike the game have nothing to do with the graphics. It's just another thing to dislike in a greater tapestry of crap.

Check back in 2 months and we'll see how many people are still pumped on it. New shiny things, even if they are very average, have a way of keeping people captivated for a few weeks.
